I decided to look it up. You know there was not a single prediction that had Seattle winning big. Not One outside of Seattle anyway. The final of Seattle 43, Denver 8 was one of the more lopsided Super Bowls in history but we haven’t had a lopsided Super Bowl in a long time. For a fan of a close good games this wasn’t it. It started with a safety and continued to get worse with each quarter for the Broncos. The question of who is more powerful a great defense or great offense was answered. Defense. The Broncos defense looked like Swiss cheese and the special teams for Seattle came up big. In short Seattle won every single phase of the game. It was a beat down and honestly I haven’t seen a beat down by a defense like that since the days of the Steel Curtain and Jack Lambert. It was physical and brutal. Loved it.
So my playoff season of predictions is over and finishes as 8-3. if I had done better in the Wild Card round I would have been near perfect. It has been a great year for being a fan. Looking forward to next year already. In the meantime, congrats to the Seahawks. The only thing is now your off my list of teams that haven’t won the Super Bowl.
Blessings and Cheers!
