I haven’t been writing a lot this week but as I thought about it, this became by design. The year is coming to an end and I am also approaching my 1500th post. I want that post to be the last post of the year which will also be the Theology Pub’s Second Annual New Years Eve Ball. This Rabyd Writer post is post 1481 and so after it will be 19 posts until then with 12 days to do them in so there will be a slowdown of sorts to make things be timed right for the end of the year. As soon as I get done with this post I will have to sit down and plan out each day until the end of the year. New Year’s Day the blog will be two years old and that will be the day to hand out the awards for 2014. There are three this year to hand out to my fellow bloggers.
1. The golden nude couple statue – depicting a couple of nudists walking arm and arm (highly detailed and anatomically correct) this is for the blogger that helped out my stats the most this last year. “The Naked Help Award” will go to the blogger or website that helped me get the most traffic and was supportive to me during the last year. I originally came up with the award and its trophy to line up with the first site who won it last year Home Clothes Free whose coverage of my God and Nudity series won them the trophy last year.
2. The golden coffee cup – Simply a gold coffee mug with the word “THINK” in large letters emblazoned on it. Inspired by last years winner, The Culture Monk, the “THINK Cup” is given to the blogger who made me think most during the past year. Lots of contenders this year for that one including last year’s winner.
3. The silver lips – two fine-looking sets of lips from a female face. I am going to give one of these “Silver Kisses” out to the person who made the most comments overall for the last two years. After that, I will look at each year after that but I felt I should make it for all comers for the last two years for the first time. The other will go to the person with the most interesting or insightful comment over the last year.
Of course that day we will be rounding out the top posts for the month of December, the year and all time. The top ten most liked posts all time will be listed and a couple other lists as well: I am going to give my gone but not forgotten list of blogs that I remember and a list of my favorite posts from a writing standpoint this year.
Next week I will list the nominees where appropriate.
Blessings, Cheers and Good Luck!!!
