After much debate with myself I have decided I would rather be with a party that I am closer in ideology to than one that is big. This will offer up very different challenges but to be honest it seems that I can actually tackle these problems more head on because it will easier to get up the party ladder in a smaller party like this. The main reason for my joining is simply that the ideology of Libertarian Party matches mine so perfectly. I have never taken a political test before and scored 100% agreement and I did that with the Libertarian Party.
That said I still have a lot of practical things to do like actually join the party which requires something in short supply in the Rabyd household – money. It does not take much but it still has to be budgeted for so probably a few weeks for now it will be done. I will have to donate to both the national and state parties to get full access to all information so that will have to be done.
I also have to decide what I am willing to do in the party. Some of it might simply be what I can do given my location and my limited resources. The book I am writing (or attempting to write some days) is about my libertarian philosophy in relationship to religion and the state so it might be helpful to the party as a whole if it gets published. I have also ran for and held office before so I am not afraid of that arena either. In any case I now have a clearer direction of what I am going to be doing in the near and far future.
Blessings and Cheers!!!
