Well the first week of twelve for Spring Board is in the can. I had to move my Friday workout to Saturday because of being very busy on Friday and out-of-town. Other than that things went well except one other thing which I will get into on my rundown. The real key here is the first week is down and there are eleven to go. It was a good start but each week gets a little more intense.
I can only say that now the workouts are actually getting slightly challenging and that is a good thing. My hope is that we will be pushing the edge very soon. That is where I want to be and I need to be their soon. By the end of March I want to be working on progress not getting back to where I was.
Cardio – My treadmill provided the second problem this week. It died about five minutes into workout two this week and I can’t seem to get it better. I runs well for three to five minutes and then it locks up. Not good so I have decided to head into my one last option with is cross training videos and it has cause me to accelerate one area.
Flexibility – I was going to just do a good full body stretch for another week but because of my treadmill’s death I am going to beginning Yoga this week to have a little more intensity. Probably it is simply about time that I got this going.
Strength Training – It was a good week for strength training. I was actually pushing things on the last two sets so it means I am getting very close to where I want to be. I do need to revise my Core workout but other than that everything is pretty well in place.
Nutrition – Not concerned about this right now other than to watch obvious junk food and sugar carbs. More water and less other things to drink. Come summer things will be much, much tighter here.
