This has been a frustrating week. I am very distracted by a lot of things and I should just calm down and focus on the things that need to be done. Physically, it goes a little deeper than that as I find myself unable to finish a workout mostly because my endurance level seems to still be affected by allergies and this is something I have experienced before in Springtime in particular. My lungs are really struggling at times and I am hoping that this is temporary and will end soon. I just find myself trying to catch my breath more often and the only thing that makes sense is allergies.
Strength – I am toying with the idea of just shifting to my summer program now and focus on high reps and low weight from now until the end of summer. Mostly, I am into leaning out and getting my muscular endurance up. This week has been difficult just to get the basic lifts finished.
Flexibility – Decent stretching but it really is time to switch to true beginning yoga.
Cardio – Meh. Now that the weather is much better and the pollen count down I might try something outside.
Nutrition – Time for something more carnivore and cave man methinks. Just need to get the plan and stick with it.
