I am just going to start the Summer program this week but it will be a gradual going into the process. The symbol and reality of this program is a sledgehammer. The idea is to smash my body fat with exercise and nutrition but part of that will be an actual sledgehammer. I want to incorporate a sledgehammer against a few tires for cardio. It is time to really push it in all areas and this week is the transition and experiment week so I can be running full speed by the beginning of next week.
I was doing really good until my allergies kicked in these last two weeks and made it hard to focus or be intense but thanks to the rain and a little Flonase I am back on my feet and feeling better than ever. Time to get fully in shape so by the end of summer I will be ready to switch to Strength focus. The Summer will be about fat burning and muscle endurance. As always I will be aiming for some flexibility.
Strength: 3×15 with lighter weight and short rest periods. The idea is to boost metabolism in the muscles and have them burn some fat. I am not so much looking to gain any weight this summer in muscles but I do hope my muscular endurance will be much higher by Fall.
Flexibility: Tuesday I will be sending an online request to replace my beginner yoga videos that I cannot find. By next week I should have then but I will change from a full stretch to Yoga once they arrive.
Cardio: I am going to buy a sledgehammer and see what fitness routine involve a sledgehammer that have high cardio value.
Nutrition: Pretty Simple. Low Carbs mostly in the morning but my diet will focus on meat, veggies, fruit and water. I am also going to avoid dairy this time and see how I feel.
Spring Board 2015 was pretty good except for the end but I am hoping that now my allergies are in check, I can do much better.
