One comment on “The Rabyd Spirit – Miracle Mind

  1. Every person who comes to saving-faith, from the tiniest tot to the death-bed conversion, is a miracle of God’s grace. I’ll never forget sitting in my brother’s memorial service four years ago and hearing from friends and co-workers of his love for God and the Bible. Darrell was felled by cancer at the young age of 54, and even though he was never “religious”, he had had that encounter with God that made him a changed man. I took real comfort in their testimonies.

I sometimes wonder if my writings are having any impact, because some of them seem to fall as flat as the Pharisee’s prayer, but I am reminded that God is in charge, not me. I can only cling to two promises from God:

As the rain and the snow
    come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
    without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,

11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. (Isiah 55:10-11)

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hell will not overcome it. (Matthew 16:18)

I am only a messenger. God and His word are the Message, and God can and will do things beyond our wildest dreams. Christ IS building His church. That is a promise that we can depend on, because He is still in the miracle-working business.

    Blessings!

    Steve
