As of now I am still in limbo about going back to school. My hope is that the reason my application and transcript have found their way into the department I am applying to get into is that they are trying to figure out what transfer credits to give me. If the professors who I talked to before are good to their word I will be able to get my concentration and general education pretty much done and all I will have to do is the main education part that will allow me to get my degree a little quicker.
One of the things this had cause is a few concerns about my writing to some readers of All Things Rabyd. I have had one touching phone call, a Facebook comment indicating a concern that I don’t stop writing and a few emails wondering what will happen once I start school to my writing. I appreciate this far more than people know as it does a writer’s heart good to know someone is actually reading but truth is I might actually get more consistent and actually accomplish more.
I know me, and the times I have been most productive is also the times that I have had the least amount of time. I think the great trap is thinking because you are not doing much you have plenty of time to do things just leads you to doing less. It is deadlines and pressure that make you perform and fill the free time you do have either with productivity or real rest. I have not had that much pressure in a while and I am looking forward to it being their again assuming I get a letter of acceptance.
The Soul Rundown:
Writing – the garage is complete except for some more disposal of junk which I can’t do until certain times of the year. That said I should be getting back to a normal writing schedule soon. Yeah, whatever normal is.
Reading – Hmmm. I am sure college will have some things for me to read that I can review and it might be fun to do so.
Family – It is what it is.
Finances – Yeah hoping to take the first step of the long-term plan soon.
Blessings and Cheers!!!
