I have done a lot of walking this week. Ferris State University is a deceptively large campus and so I have covered a lot of miles on my shoes this week going to and from class. The real interesting thing is the feeling of wall about I have had while doing it. Walking and thinking are interesting activities to put together and on top of all that I know I am losing weight.
The gym was good but I only got two days in with all the stuff going on and the running around I have had to do. I have enjoyed both workouts and next week with the Labor Day weekend I am going to only be in the town my gym is in four days seeing I now have a class every day of the week. This is going to provide a pretty good workout set every week. I can do pretty long workouts on Tuesday and Thursday because I only have one morning class and I can get to the gym when practically no one is there. I am thinking Leg and Back day. The other days Chest, Arms and Shoulders. I have also toyed with the idea of a four-day split with Monday off all the time. Legs, Chest, Back, Shoulders and Arms. Lots of possibilities.
I am enjoying the gym. Beagle Fitness has all sorts and all kinds of different lifters. It is a pretty eclectic place and I enjoy that. It can get a little crowded but they do have plans to move for expansion purposes so I hope one of the things is increasing the number of equipment so there is less waiting.
Strength – Leg Day was truly awesome and I even got in some Chest work this week. I am still exploring the gym to learn everything I can do which might also help with the waiting time between exercises.
Cardio – Walk about all over campus. I have to walk far and fast on couple of occasions so it is definitely taxing since it has been a while since I have walked that much.
Nutrition – I pretty much only drink water now with a few exceptions I also have less time for idle snack so that is good.
Flexibility – Need to stretch more. I would still like to have Yoga time but I ma going to have to figure out how to get that in.
Blessings and Cheers!!!
