It has been a good week from an exercise point of view. Both of my workouts were long and difficult but definitely I feel much better. The long walks on campus have definitely had their effect on my body as well. It has been good to be out and about and away from the computer for long periods. I still however have a long way to go before I get where I want to be, so this progress is not an excuse to slow down. I need to keep moving forward.
Weight Lifting: I enjoy Beagle Fitness for weights. They have pretty much everything I will probably ever need from a weight lifting point of view. The Leg Press Sled and I are getting well acquainted and I am getting close to maxing out their leg curl and leg extension machines with both legs. If that happens I will switch to one leg at a time and that should keep me busy for a little longer.
Cardio – Lots of walking. In fact I often park my car off campus farther away than I need to just to make the walking a little more difficult.
Nutrition – No time to really eat perfect right now and getting back to lifting I am mostly concerned with keeping things as clean as possible and getting as much protein in my diet as I can.
Flexibility – Hmm. Yoga is still a goal.
