I have been debating with myself for quite some time now about a final change to the blog rotation and I think it is my school workload has made the final decision for me. I have long done The Theology Pub Posts on every ten posts. This is a tradition I have maintained since the first year of this blog and it has been a great device for milestone posts and to mark progress. But with all the other changes I have made when it comes to the fictional part of this blog I think I need to give the Theology pub its own day. So that means the final rotation looks like this:
Sunday – The Rabyd Spirit
Monday – Sermon Redux
Tuesday – Theology Pub
Wednesday – The Rabyd Writer’s Soul
Thursday – The Adventures of Ayn Jones
Friday – The Body Rabyd
Saturday – The Banner of Rosenhall
I still may of course slip in other types of posts from time to time when I have time.
Now all of you are probably noticing that this blog which is a theology and philosophy blog now has less theology and philosophy to it. Or so it seems. Truth is that my philosophy and theology are imbedded into my fiction. In the Theology Pub this is more obvious but I have also slipped in a little theology in the Banner of Rosenhall. If you didn’t notice there is a debate Sophia has been having with herself about fate, prophecy and freewill. Ayn Jones will have some of the same type of things.
There are also other practical concerns for me and the content of my writing. Being a political science major and looking at law school as a possibility, I need to be more cautious on my posts on these subjects so they are not used against me in later life. Fiction writing is a little safer in this regard as anyone can tell you that has turned real life into fiction by changing names and situations enough to not be sued for them. I don’t have that problem but I do understand the need to keep things fuzzy. So this is going to be about my personal journal, my preaching and some fictional stories that illustrate philosophical and theological concepts.
The Soul Rundown:
Writing – I have been talking about this the whole post so that is that.
Reading – Been doing a lot of reading but none of it for pleasure. Soon I hope.
Family – Not too much time for things other than the basic stuff.
Finances – Education starting to head into a more specific direction.
Blessings and Cheers!!!
