Last week was a very exhausting week on a loot of levels but every time as a pastor I deal with grief both in others and myself it seems to get the most exhausting. I went through the motions of my five classes today as all I really had the energy to do was listen and take a few notes from time to time. Just tired from an emotional point of view, need a recharge at some point but it probably won’t happen till this coming weekend and even I am not sure. Next week is finals week so I need to get some things done.
This semester’s exams I actually only have one traditional exam. I have a take home exam, an exam that is only extra credit and two projects that count as the final. Not like college from the past at all. Everything back then was an actual exam. In any case this is the final push and it is almost over. Once I get through this week and probably Thursday of next week things will pretty much be over but the shouting.
The Spirit Rundown:
Celebration: Still having some good memories of the saint that died in our church. It was truly a celebration of life service rather than a funeral – a life well lived.
Spiritual Disciplines: Tough week for regular discipline but for the most part there was not shortage of prayer.
Leadership: Thinking about things these days. Hopefully some opportunity will come soon.
Ministry: Lots of thought going into the church right now. I am firmly convinced things need to change to get better. New vision needed so I am praying about that.
Blessings and Cheers!!!
