Yeah as I watch the political scene this becomes more and more the issue and I wish that we had a ‘none of the above’ selection on our ballots. I mean wouldn’t it be nice to just say: I don’t like any of these people, can we have a do over? If ‘None of the Above” wins then we re-vote the next week with only write in candidates and the ones that ran the first time can’t be chosen. It would shake things up.
It probably not going to happen so I am going to have a closer look at the candidates over this week probably two at a time. It is my effort to sort this crap out and deal with each candidate as fairly as I can. It should be noted that I will be judging each one on a libertarian ethic and making some notes about their Christian message and how the Christians are reacting to them. This second one will be very easy for some but for others it might be a little challenging to speak the truth in love.
My main judgment ethic and a libertarian is the issue of freedom and liberty. I know that sound simplistic but no one really talks about freedom and liberty much any more because implementing them is very hard it seems even though they should be the opposite of hard. It is hard because when people have liberty you cannot control them and that is the very opposite of what all politicians seem to be about these days.
Should be fun. I think I will take the democrats first and then the four republicans over the next two days after that. Assuming of course on of them doesn’t drop out after Tuesday. I probably will due Cruz and Trump Tuesday because the chances of them dropping out are nil and see if the last two are still standing on Wednesday. On Thursday I will look at the most likely Libertarian Candidates and then give some final words over the weekend.
Blessings and Cheers!!!
