This is going to be a short post because time is pressing and I have to go back to school tomorrow. It has a been a long weekend with the birth of my second granddaughter Clara Rose, church (my job) and then we had a surprise party for my mother who turns 75 this month. My daughter felt such a landmark year should not go by without celebration. With having her baby though everyone else in the family, including me had to step up to make it happen. It has meant not a lot of time for much of anything including blogging and so all my blogging plans for the weekend went to hell.
No rundown other than to say that I remarked to someone this week that everything is going well right now and I really was just enjoying the moment. My only regret this weekend is that I couldn’t spend more time with Clara Rose. I usually like to spend some time holding the babies I love and getting to know them. I often find that babies are far more intelligent in their conversations than adults. I have however already given her a nickname: I used to call my daughter ‘bug’ when she was little. When Jane was born I started calling her “Jane Bug” a cute version of June Bug. Now that Clara Rose is here; I have decided on “Rose Bug”.
There is something truly awesome in grandchildren.
Blessings and Cheers!!!
