Next week is the first full week of April and that means it is time to get serious about everything. Lifting, Cardio, Flexibility and Nutrition. Especially nutrition. One of the things I really have to do now is control what goes into my mouth. The thing that is looming on the horizon this month is a doctor’s appointment on April 29th which is also the last day of school before exams. The issue is to be as healthy as possible before then. My real issue, and the only reason I am going to the doctor, is this lump on my upper abdominal area. It does not hurt or in any way cause discomfort it just seems to be getting bigger at a very slow rate. That of course makes things tighten up as I lose weight ,so it is annoying. The goal is to have this be the only topic of discussion because the rest of my health is good.
The Body Rundown:
Nutrition: The basic plan is to cut carbs and drink a lot of water. This means the elimination of some of the stuff I eat and drink in favor of eating nothing and drinking water. I am also thinking of intermittent fasting for multiple reasons but mostly for training and then studying for school. Probably only one day in three I will eat no breakfast and see what that does. I also need to break out the supplements and such. Protein will always be accepted.
Flexibility: Just need to get to the gym early enough so I can do a full body stretch and then lift.
Cardio: I am training for hiking and I think what would be good is to try to get my pace up. I am thinking of a ten minute thing where I get the pace up to my maximum walking pace. This would be the pace where if I go any faster, I would be jogging. Once I can do that regularly, it will be the goal to increase the time I can keep that pace up.
Strength: I need four routines (MTTHF). Probably five to six exercises at 3:12-15 using the heaviest weight possible. Shouldn’t be too difficult.
Blessings and Cheers!!!
